Prof. Dr. Aydan Biri completed her education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and became a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1992. After gaining experience in various cities and hospitals in Turkey in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she returned to Ankara and worked at Ankara Maternity Hospital and Gazi Hospital. In 2010, she founded Ankara Koru Hospital and has been working there since then. In 2001, she started her academic career as an assistant professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. She became an associate professor in 2006 and a full professor in 2011. Throughout her academic career, she received various domestic and international trainings, completing her international trainings at the University of California and Cornell University. Prof. Dr. Aydan Biri decided to pursue a medical biology and genetics PhD to specialize in genetic diseases and diagnostic methods. She started her PhD at Gazi University in 2006 and completed it in 2011. Throughout her career, she has seen numerous patients and performed surgeries, becoming one of the most experienced doctors in her field.
